BUMPTOP

In BumpTop, documents are represented as three-dimensional boxes lying on a virtual desk. The user can position the boxes on the desk using the stylus or mouse. Extensive use of physics effects like bumping and tossing is applied to documents when they interact, for a more realistic experience. Boxes can be stacked with well-defined gestures. Multiple selection is performed by means of a LassoMenu, which fluidly combines in one stroke the act of lasso selection and action invocation via pie menus. BumpTop currently supports Windows XP, Vista, and 7, and a version for Mac OS X was released into private beta on January 18, 2010. The Mac edition omits the pie menu in favor of a more normal selection menu

My favorite Android Utility Apps

1) Mobile Defense :
One of the scariest things for cellphone addicts to experience is the realization that you lost your phone. Mobile Defense comes to the rescue by being “LoJack for your phone,” allowing users to lock, track, find, or erase their phone in the event that it’s lost or stolen. Activate the tracking system online and then see a real-time map of your phone until Android is back in your arms again. ( It would have been good if i found this app before my friend lost his phone :D )

2)  Download all files :
Download all files from the Web and Gmail in hassel-free a way. With Download All Files you will be able to download these files to your device. This app works like a browser plugin and enables you to download all file types and allows you to save them easily to your SD card.Additionally you will be able to save all your Gmail attachments.

3)  Wi-Fi Hacker :
Hack into any wifi network with Wifi Hacker. Even password protected onesHack into any wifi network with Wifi Hacker. Sneak into any wifi (wireless) network even if they are protected. (WEP/WPA/WPA2).
With WiFi Hacker get the one click wifi hack and you'll be able too see which website(s) are browsed in that network, live. (Or browsed before).WiFi Hacker reads/decrypts cookies in all devices that are connected/have been connected to that network for last 24 hours.

Apple iOS application development

I tried to develop apple iOS applications by becoming a developer in apple . But Apple refuses to allow SDKs for Windows , Apple SDK (Xcode) is available for only for Mac OS X . However i have found an alternative for this you can use a virtual os version of Mac for developing the applications

VMware fusion :

1. Follow the steps here to download and install a virtualized version of OS X Lion on your PC
2. If you don't have a free Apple Dev Account, create one here. You'll need this to be able to download Xcode 4.1 for free. In OS X, open the App Store and download Xcode. You can view progress of the download under the Purchases tab.
3. Once the progress bar is finished, it will say it is installed but it really isn't. Open the Applications folder from Finder. Double-click on the Install Xcode icon.
3. Once the progress bar is finished, it will say it is installed but it really isn't. Open the Applications folder from Finder. Double-click on the Install Xcode icon.
6. Once it's done, it should open by itself. If it doesn't, you will NOT find the iPhone SDK in your dock. You will need to open your hard drive. Then Click on Developer, then on Applications
7. You will now see an icon for Xcode, click it and you can start coding applications.

If the icons don't show up, you may not have enough virtual hard drive space to fit the program. Make sure you have at least 10 GB of free memory in the virtual machine. Restarting your machine may be another way to make the icon appear.

Science expo

This was the best science expo. I was in vikhash's group with sai and Joshi, dinesh and vinith.
We did a project on beagleboard a single board computer since the total expo was about green physics ,green chemistry ,green technology we had no choice than this . First I and vikhash couldn't find a topic for months later I came with the idea. We did a presentation however we did not use it necks I brought only a single switchboard so we could not use so much devices.

The first day before the expo we were to go to give a demo. However our school didn't have a HDMI monitor so I had to bring mine and I told that we wud bring it tomorrow .

The previous day I wanted to do an animation for the project in Flash I asked ma'am whether we can do it in the AV lab well we(me and Sai) did a part of the animation in the lab we went back to class be because there was a class waiting for the lab. Later Csc ma'am called me I went with vikhash , there another maam asked me to do the hotspur for the expo as I knew how to use flash , vikhash tried to escape but I asked ma'am whether I can take the help of Sai and vikhash because it was a lengthy note and Sai can type quite faster then me.well we finished just two slides in flash but that ma'am asked can't the transition b changed in flash because we just used typewriter fashion and designs in flash require lots of time. She told us to use swishmax , a software which I have never heard about .Well we used that software to finish just 5 slides that day .

As we didnt have the monitor , we did the hotspot most of our group members dis the hotspot including. Vinith. Me and vikhash went late after finishing the hotspot . We had to come early the next day because we still didn't finish converting the format and reseting the hotspot.

The fist day of science expo , brought the monitor and we connected the monitor it worked later ma'am came she told all of us cannot be there and only two can be there and so we needed to take shifts . Mostly it was me and vikhash , and Sai . Joshi dinesh and vinith could not tell properly so we used them when we saw known faces . Chief guests came it was Sai and vikhash who mostly explained I just operated the software . I explained too to some ppl . The first day it started with a XIIth guy who said make it commercial . We met foreigners and one of those foreigners I think q man from Sudan , he couldnt understand us after vikhash explaining everything about it he told " so is this a single board computer "

The second was more fun than the previous day , the crowd was less till 10:00 so I told Sai and Joshi to explain while I went out I was going into nearly every class . Later we went back to lab .Meena aunty was in the next lab and was entering our lab she didn't ask anyone to explain except a group in the center of the lab who had created a remote control bus or vehicle it liked like a bus to me . She asked whether anyone has iPod we told "Vikhash!" he had no other choice than. To show his iPod touch , LOL he explained about iPod touch to her and the school photographer took a photo of it and vikhash got it later at school , don't know whether he still has the photo. After that we played GTA on my laptop while dinesh and vinith played counterstrike on the lab computers. During the expo counterstrike was there in nearly every computer of the lab but when I checked in my lab computer after the expo it was missing well I wanted to play counterstrike but I couldn't

My fav Ipod apps

IWoopie downloader:

I found an interesting app (it's a japanese app) that lets you download youtube and dailymotion videos (look at the topic for the name of the app) and even watch them as you download them. The user interface is really easy to navigate and I like the fact that it's similar to searching for youtube videos. I tried it out a bit and it seems pretty good so far, I was able to download a few videos, but there were some that I couldn't

Well i could not find a youtube video downloader for my PC ( althought i found one but not up to the mark - thats another long story)

My Fav Softwares

Fences:

Windows 7 might bring a brand new taskbar, but it doesn't do much to improve upon the main desktop itself. Fences is a great way to make your desktop organised, by arranging and sorting icons into various 'fences' or labelled shaded areas in a well-presented manner. Fences make life a lot easier.

Recuva:

Recuva is a freeware app that recovers files that have been accidentally deleted from the Recycle Bin, MP3 Players and memory cards, claiming to recover files that have also been corrupted by viruses or damaged disks. The slick Recuva Wizard at Startup appeals to both amateurs and professionals, and with no price tag, it can be priceless when you find those important photos or documents.
